Sales Account Executive
This position is fully remote.

We’ve given small business owners around the globe hundreds of thousands of hours back to their families and businesses by building an ERP for small businesses.
Curate develops a SaaS platform that automates the tedious parts of event planning. Florists, caterers, wedding coordinators, and corporate party planners depend on us to deliver flawless experiences everyday. Our software makes it easy to organize all the information they need for an event and turn it into gorgeous proposals, accurate recipes, and streamlined wholesale orders, saving them time and making them more profitable.
We are looking for driven and ambitious Account Executives to join our rapidly growing organization. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills and your positive attitude to drive new business to the Curate platform. You don’t need a wealth of experience, but if you're eager to grow and want to make an impact by helping small business owners solve huge problems, then we need you! This role is remote and reports to the VP of Sales.
OTE is $95,600K/year ($53,600 base pay plus commission)
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to a steady pipeline of inbound leads to address current business pain.
- Run consultation meetings with SMB executives to establish opportunities for both Curate and the customer.
- Effectively communicate our value proposition and what makes Curate unique in the marketplace.
- Listen to customer product feedback and then clearly communicate with our product team in the voice of the customer.
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity to ensure proper call frequency and follow-up.
- Execute the full sales cycle from initial call to demo and eventually closing.
- Become an industry expert, offering caterers and event professionals insight into valuable business strategies for running their business.
- Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals.
- Provide input on sales training, automation, account load management, and strategy implementation plans for new products.
- Execute on previously established guidelines, processes, and company principles.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1+ year of relevant experience in sales - client facing or consulting
- Driven to succeed and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in time management, setting priorities, and taking an initiative
- SaaS Inbound selling into SMBs experience is preferred
- Track record of performance against defined metrics
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - phone, email, and Zoom
- Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of new products
- Understand and apply effective business development strategies and techniques
- A passion for building new business
- Willingness to work in a collaborative work environment
- Bachelor's degree in business, related field OR equivalent experience
